Continuing on with the summer theme, you can find an abundance of great subject matter for figure studies at the beach. For this painting , I was drawn to the hand gesture the woman on the left was making , conveying a sense of a dialogue between the two figures.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter says I like this painting as it is similar in style to one I did years ago. Yes, I like the style, the colors, the composition, the subject, etc. (Don't tell her, but neither the style nor the medium are the same!) Come to AZ to see the difference in light. Then - I'd love to see your interpretations.
